There are a number of hair dyes on the market which give the impression of being natural but actually only have a small percentage of natural ingredients. Many of these are sold in health food and organic/wholefood shops and many people think they are natural. To mention a few names - Naturtint, Daniel Fields, Herbatint, Vegetal, Natures Grey Busters are not totally natural and still contain a lot of chemicals. They are all ammonia free but that is not the only chemical in hair dyes. They all contain a few natural/organic ingredients. But in most cases the majority of the ingredients are chemicals. Herbatint, Daniel Fields, Tints of Nature and Naturtint contain the allergen PPD. Have a look at the ingredients list and you will see. Ask them to categorically state that they are 100% natural?
